Does anyone recall how pedestrian Anthony Davis' offensive game was while he played at Kentucky?

Davis had no mid-range game whatsoever as a freshman in college and now has one of the most consistent mid-range shots of any power forward in the NBA. Hell, he can even make three-pointers from time-to-time.

And his team still sucks. Just like LSU. I wish we had a coaching staff to use these guys the right way. Both of them. I do have hope for LSU but the Pelicans coach is a clown

Simmons atop of board on draft ESPN needs to figure out which story they're going with.

I do have legit worries after this year. Of the guys committed not a lot of star power and still not a lot of inside presence.

With Simmons, Q, Hornsby and Grey leaving I don't think the void will be filled at least on paper, and we are struggling and underachieving to this point with those guys.

Don't be surprised if your starting backcourt isn't Q and Tone next year

He is on a lot of mock draft boards as a first round pick.

Would love for him to return but trying to be realistic on that one.

27.7% from midrange. Being outperformed by the rookie towns this season. And you mad at me? talk about misguided anger.

So pass up money, lower your overall earning window, practice with shittier coaches, and have the risk of a major injury without money in the bank so you can work on your jumpshot?

People cannot logic.

The league is full of bigs that can't shoot, the difference is Simmons has legit ball skills and can drive right past most PFs.

Usually the first pick in the NBA draft can at least be a starter on the team that drafts him. Can anyone really see Simmons being a starter on a NBA by next year?

Who cares? He will be signed to a contract and will make millions. If he doesn't pan out in 4 years because he doesn't translate to the next level, he will be loaded.
