Kelvin Shepard mention this in an interview on wafb sports report last night. He said the team knows about the gripping of the fans and lack of respect from the media.
Rain or shine, lsu are so piss, miss state is going to feel the pain.

To add on from my previous post, Kelvin shepards interview reminded of the same ones prior to the chicken bowl vs ga tech. Lsu was getting no respect nationally and I think Kelvin said the team knows this. God, I want us to beat the hell of miss state like ga tech. Sorry its miss state this week, looks like we are going beat the shite out of them like a gump hitting his wife and pets after a bama loss.

Lou picking Miss St. over us is great news. We usually lose when he picks us. Thank you Mr. Holtz!

LSU would be best served by being on UPSET ALERT each and every game.

I don't think any comparisons with USC's play at Washington are useful at this point. Turnovers, penalties and injuries were the story there.

Washington is probably going to lose their first game today at Stanford.

I finally agree with a trojan fan - he states the obvious in regard to udub, southern cal and LSU games.

However, your picking the cardinal over the huskies seems like sour grapes.

In addition, i regard 'upset alert' differently than an upset pick... msu is a trap game and so an 'upset alert' - these clowns often don't go on to pick the upset.

...and lou forever picks gophers, gamecocks, razorbacks and irish when he has no business doing so

'Washington is probably going to lose their first game today at Stanford.'

I forgot the trojan math too... whatever happens today in palo alto, the huskies will not lose their 'first game today.'

Our Tigers made sure of that in their season opner.

Not really, although my grapes were pretty sour last Saturday.

I think Harbaugh, with Andrew Luck at QB, has a legitimate pocket passer, and they will pick UW's secondary apart. They have balance also. Toby Gerhart is a powerful RB (if the name is familiar, you may remember him from the College WS, as he plays baseball too) and play action can do good things for the furdies.

I hate that USC doesn't have the stranglehold on the conference that we have had in years past, but I will admit that the rest of the PAC 10 is now much more interesting to watch.

That should have read "first conference game", but I am not going to edit the post. It is kinda funny as it is.

Back on topic though, LSU is NOT going to lose at MSU, as long as they avoid turnovers, penalties and poor execution. Otherwise the talent gap is too much for the bulldogs to bridge.

tigers win easy, IMHO.

Stanford - Washington should be a great matchup - is this a late game on ESPN network?

I think Udub's too much for the cardinal.

Washington at Stanford 8:00 p.m. FCS (DirecTV 617) / FCS Pacific (cable)

UW is a good team, and they have played well in both their games. What they have yet to do is prove that they can beat a good team on the road.

Home field advantage, especially in at atmosphere like you get up in Seattle, is a HUGE advantage. You know this about Tiger Stadium as well.

If Sark and his Dawgs beat Harbaugh and Stanford in their own digs, that will be pretty impressive.

Not buying into the "ESPN Hates LSU" claim, but really, why do they have to say EVERY week that we are going to be "upset?" I'm sure it was killing them not to say it last week...

Man oh man. Why cant Lou Holtz let it go??? We beat Notre Dame in a couple of bowl games and he is STILL heated.

He cursed us against Kentucky. We were the number 1 team in the land at the time. Why in God's name did we need a pep talk???

Now this? Lou has seriously got it out for LSU.

I know it seemed like they were undefeated when they beat USC, but LSU beat them already.

I honestly can't understand ESPN keeping Holtz on. He comes across as a moron and really doesn't add value anymore.
