Field goals were the only bright spot on special teams last night. We sucked in every phase other than that.

After those first couple of scary KOs, I thought our KO coverage tightened up. Punt coverage was adequate. We had 1 very nice punt. Other than that - I tend to agree.

Looks fixable, but ST definitely needs work.

Yes, when you see things that don't happen...you may be under the influence. Good luck.

Seriously, in the Saban years we would pin teams inside the 10 regularly. This is gonna be big later in the season.

What about during the Biff Jones years?

Pretty damn good.

Miles actually told me they have some things to keep working on, that they will try to improve.

Only children speak in terms of everything and always.

Well children and hormonal teenage girls.

Punts especially. Wing needs some consistency.

Our kickoff coverage team has been performing well below what we are used to. That's it.

Kicking has been superb. Punting has been tremendous (with Wing). Punt coverage has been great.

Attack the coaches for being incompetent, right? I mean, any time one area of the team is not performing up to our standards, it's obviously because our coaches simply "can't coach".

You are a one trick pony. You bring up a valid point about kickoff coverage and then completely invalidate it by misrepresenting it as a bigger issue while attacking an assistant coach.

To be fair they all wear 38! I was wrong.

Now, when did all the NW returns go to the 40? Will you admit your mistake.

We need more consistency from all punters wearing 38.

It's not the coaching. If you kickoff to the 15 or 20 and there is no air under the ball, the returner will take it to the 35 or 40, or even worse. We just don't have anyone who can kick the effing ball far enough or, alternatively, high enough for coverage to get to the returner. Pretty simple stuff. The question is, why not?

I agree. We shouldn't be giving scholarships to kickers at all.

Walk-ons are perfectly fine. No need to waste scholarships on kickers or punters.

That is the point. Of course you don't get four pages if you don't piss someone off, and this validates her life.

And we really should fire the coaches that give all the punters 38 as their number. Some retards can't recognize left and right foot!

Special teams are fine, it is the darn Kicker. It was Miles that called the dumb off sides kick. They need to get a walk on Kicker for KOs.

yay sanity!!

this post wins.

this was a game where the line was 4 pts right? right? not 24?

i guess some people need stuff to bitch about after a 13 point win on the road against what all the experts called a "trap" opponent. this was State's super bowl and we pushed 'em around.

clean up the penalties. that's my criticism.
