The only new member of the staff.

What is everyone's opinion of how our ST's have performed this year?

Only real negative seems to be the inability to tackle, but that is happening across the board it seems.

I think the coverage teams have done well, but we simply cannot give return men a lane to save our lives. Same as last year though.

Plus, I'm probably the only person alive who thinks Trindon is a terrible return guy, but that's just me I guess.

Probably not the special teams coach's fault.

Which was suggested in the portion of the sentence you cut off.

holliday seems to have terrible vision. now wether or not its because hes only 4 feet tall and cant see over the line, hes only a track star, he runs too fast to be able to make decisions before hes allready there, or maybe hes just straight up not good at seing holes i dont know.

Not calling you out. Just reiterating the point.

Returns have been horrible. There was a blocked kick - that counts for something.

And correct me if I'm wrong - but there were zero recovered onside kicks and probably what, three attempted?

Colt David obviously kicks arse.

Punting hasn't been that good either.

Would you guys want to go back to the old system with a full time DC and one of the assistants doubling as ST coach?

As opposed to a full time ST coach?

I don't know if you were talking about us attempting onside kicks or the opponents but we recovered one vs. Auburn

I like him. It's not his fault we can't tackle. I feel like the punting has improved, and the kick coverage has been great.

However, it doesn kill me that we can't open up any sort of lane for kick returns. But, with as many explosive players UF has, they still only return 2-3 kicks a year.

Not sure Cash. I guess it could help if the ST coach gets to see the guys in positional drills so he has a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. Honestly, I don't know though.

I just think we need a coach who understands how to set up a return lane and to instruct a returner on how to see lanes develop because I haven't seen that at LSU in years with both full time ST coaches and assistants doubling.

I bet he's gone after this year along with Malleveto and Lane.

Studrawa on the O-line is treading in dangerous waters too, I'll bet.

Really? My bad. I guess that's pretty good then, considering the odds of recovery over the league are what, 1 in 5? 1 in 10?

Its all coming back now - I guess I forgot about it because we wound up going 3 and out with it.

Only thing I can say about Robinson is that he got his a$$ chewed by Miles during Ole Miss game. Also earlier him and Peveto almost got into fistacuffs.
