Spears is just another bandwagon fan. He’ll jump ship and dog us on national television at the first sign of adversity. Got nothing for him anymore.

I know this concept might be difficult for some of you, but there’s the fan Marcus Spears and there’s the professional, unbiased football analyst. As an employee, if he sits there’s all day and just talks purple and gold no one takes him seriously outside of LSU fans and his tv career is over. Personal Spears is probably your biggest LSU fan out there. Try looking at things objectively and accepting things for what they are sometimes.

The funny part is these same people dog any and every analyst that shows constant bias towards their alma mater.

MS still not a big fan. But glad he picked us. It was hard for him. Go play ft nite and stfu. Not a big fan of MS as a analyst. He did not have much confidence earlier in year.

The folks who think Marcus is NOT an LSU fan know absolutely nothing about him. He is LSU (and Louisiana) through and through. But his paying job is to be a commentator of all SEC teams. He has to come over as NOT an LSU fan in that job.

A lot of people wrote this team off. Plus Spears has to at least have the appearance of objectivity. There seems to be some tension between Tebow and Spears. It may be because Tebow gets to be a total homer while Spears is expected to be professional. Marcus has a good little gig with the SEC network so he should probably be a little less offended.
