I haven't seen an Army hit this bad since Afghanistan

I actually do take less enjoyment from beating one of the service academies. I’ve always been glad we don’t schedule Army, Air Force, and Navy in football. I didn’t even like scheduling the Citadel. However the last couple of years we probably would have gotten our arse beat by the service academies in football anyway. So nothing to feel bad about lol.

Army did great just to make it this far. Every time they leave a visiting stadium they have to leave all of their equipment behind.

The fact Southern Miss only has two runs against them is a big issue for them loving forward.

Maybe so, maybe not. Southern Miss wouldn't be the first team who struggled to hit one game and then tore the cover off the ball the next.
In the press conference Army's coach emphasized that they didn't have great pitching though. So hopefully their lack of hitting continues as the pitching they face also improves.
