Once again, the team wasn't as soft as the pieces of shite who come here to crap all over them the instant any adversity happens.
We need to publicly shame those assholes. Call them out by name. They've had no problem all season long publicly shaming the team and calling each member of the team out all the way from the freshman utility player that sees three games a year all the way up to the skipper.
The super regional at the Box is not for those people. They called fans out for being happy to host a regional as if that's all we wanted and didn't have high hopes for our Tigers. We had realistic expectations for our Tigers. We cheered anyway and watched our team fight their way to hosting a super. When those fans who shat on the team every chance they got start cheering for this team from here out, embarrass them and remind everyone who they are.
Their post history stands.
Now that is out of the way, USM played like hell and never laid down. Their disappointment should be tempered by how well their team played.

Congrats, Tigers.
Honestly, I couldn’t be more proud of USM. This team had major flaws and was our least talented in 5-6 years. They were not afraid of the moment one bit this weekend, though.
Just didn’t have the talent to get past y’all.

Much respect to them. They are a tough team that probably could have won one of those west coast regionals. It’s tough to beat the Tigers at the Box. They gave a good effort.

1 for his last 31. .170 on the season. Came up twice with a runner at 3rd and less than two outs tonight. No RBIs.
People saying Hughes doesn’t deserve to be on the roster are stretching it. People saying Hughes shouldn’t be in the everyday lineup have a more than valid point.

2) This is the post of the day. Well done. I would really love to spend more time interacting with people who know what the hell they are talking about and know the game, but they are drowned out by the dipshits and it brings the whole site down.
And I NEVER read the game thread if we are behind. That goes for all sports, really.
