It's "the most annoying thing he does" IMO. I can't stand it. Even if it's not meant to be, it always comes across to me as showboating.

I was just thinking this. He only does it on the first pitch that I’ve noticed and it’s almost like he starts jumping out of the batters box before the ball even crosses the plate
