I’d like to have him back but he really needs to go someplace he’s the unquestioned work horse back. He’d do well here but not well enough to risk a young guy transferring.

Does LSU really need a guy who has had 7 good runs in 6 years?

Tone deaf response by Kelly IMO.

Only because Durham didn’t play game 1.

He looked like the best one before he got hurt & we didn’t run the ball particularly well after he got hurt. TF is Kelly talking about?
Caden Durham did more his first year than Emery did in his 6 years…going back to Joe burrow days

If he wants any type of look from the NFL he won't see the field enough at LSU

He’s had 6 years. It’s time to move on

I mean maybe Kelly wants him to have a chance to play a lot and perhaps he doesn't feel like he will get that opportunity at LSU.
I agree that Emery will have a much better chance to make it to the league if he leaves LSU. We have a crowded backfield and under the best of circumstances he will only get 3-4 carries per game. He should go somewhere he can get more snaps. A mid-major place like TCU or Memphis or somewhere like that where he will get national exposure. If he plays like I think he can then he could end up being a late round draft pick.
