Er. so you think Tulane fans have pride in LSU and vice-versa?

I do think with Saban there now, that ramped up some hatred, but it is still not close to being raised from day one to either love or hate Bama.

I think the average Auburnite hates Bama more deeply than the average Tiger Fan.

Do some LSU fans hate Bama more than life itself, yes. But I would disagree that the average Tiger Fan was raised on hating Bama. That may be changing with the new younger fans, but just a few short years ago, Tulane was easily the most hated rival. Why? Same state.

So I would assume it would be the same form Bama vs. Burn.

As I said, I do believe that is changing, but not enough to put us ahead on Auburn at this point.

With so many years of arse whippings, Tulane is out as the most hated yearly game. I think for people over 40, it is probably Bama as Cholly Mac could never get over the Bear. I think for people 40 to 30, Florida is most hated for the massive beatdowns in the Spurrier years, and maybe for younger fans Bama is going to be hated for the Traitor Saban.

So I think the hate is split up. Whereas in Alabama. The hate is united towards Bama or Burn.

To be totally honest, I'd say as a Tech fan, our most hated rival that we face on a regular basis is ACTUALLY Hawaii. Outside of that, we hate everyone else in Louisiana, or at least the more serious of us do.

NO QUESTION that Auburn fans hate Bama more than LSU fans.

I don't know I worked with an alabama native that roots for both.

The best thing about my hate for all things Bama is that it grows daily.

I've hated bama since 2007, I've hated auburn since 2004. I guess it is whomever poses the most threat on a particular year.

Haha, dont worry about being compared to LSU dude, you'll never win a national championship. Tech/LSU realy isnt a rivalry either, weren't they fcs in as recently as the 80's?

LSU fans do.

Let's put it this way... even when you want to be the top program in your state there's going to be a certain level of pride in the fact that boys from your state are doing well.

You obviously don't know a single Auburn fan. I do. When you open your mouth and make a statement as a fact on a subject that you know nothing about...you just prove yourself to be a fool.

I root for everyone in Louisiana that doesn't play LSU. Louisiana Tech always played opponents tough. Dare I say tougher when they were I-AA.

I literally detest "A-ba-lama" They are the sports biggest cheaters and should've gotten the death penalty.

Never underestimate an instate rivalry...I've seen weddings where I knew there would be trouble by how the families acted to sports stuff, UA and AU stuff, and have tried to warn them. Its not the same as UM/OSU or UT/OU. Its always personal.

Not to jump in but it's Auburn in a landslide. Anyone that's ever lived in this state will attest to that. Also, the LSU hate is only one way whereas the Bama/Auburn thing is commonly mutual.

I would have to disagree with this.. Although our hate for Bama has multiplied since Saban got there, Auburn has always hated them a lot more..

Is Louisiana tech a mid - major? Really no better than any other State school. Techs true rival is ULM but they are in denial. In the meantime, it is ULM who is looking forward to a bowl game this year. Tech will surely be full of pride and togetherness as they prepare for LSU this weekend but there campus will bear as many LSU hats, shirts, etc., next week. They are the ultimate wannabe's. God help us all should they pull off an upset.

I didn't care about Alabama, one way or the other, until Saban took over. I hate that back-stabbing bastard.
