What a bunch of pussies. "OH NO!...We were treated so bad in New Orleans...OH NO! bullshite! I was there too, and they were a bunch of arrogant assholes! If we are so bad, then why was there so many West Virginia fans that said they were suprised by the hospitality? The real reason OU fans hate us is we beat them down in the NC, and Les Miles beat them with a shitty OSU team.

The 04 Sugar Bowl was winnable, Stoops should have 3 NC
if only every SEC school would run and hide when it was time to play the big bad sooners.
cant spell cocksuckers without OU

It's official, OU fans much more fricking delusional than aTm fan.
hmmph, never thought I'd see that.

most of the Sooners I met in New Orleans before the game had that elitist attitude and couldn't understand why people were getting pissed off at them.
I have to agree 100%. I took my wife and two daughters down to the pep rally event on the Sunday before the game. The older Oklahoma fans were the most arrogant and enjoying every moment of it.
They must have thought LSU fans would fold under in their presence.

OU has the most pathetic fans Ive ever seen. For 3 or 4 years after we beat them, they had fans go on our bowl opponent's message boards and warn them about how awful are fans were (Iowa, Notre Dame, Miami, and Ohio State boards). Everytime after the game I read those boards and those fan bases had pretty much nothing but good things to say about us. hmmmmmmm....maybe OU is the problem, not us
They still do this. They are the very definition of butthurt.

I wasn't gonna give my little rendition, but since a fellow Kansan/LSU alum/fan posted the above story, I'll drop a little story. On the day of the Big 12 and SEC Championship games in 2003, I happen to be at the Great Mall of the Plains in Olathe...probably 30 minutes or so from Arrowhead Stadium where the Big 12 game was being played. Anyway, there were a lot of OU fans walking around the mall that day, and one big guy wearing an OU jacket was there with his teenage son. Now, my family moved around quite a bit when I was younger so I've lived in a number of different states, but I will always call southern Illinois home, and the teenager that was walking with the big OU fan had on a letterman jacket from Vienna High School in southern Illinois. Vienna was a rival school in my high school's conference, so I had to approach the kid and his OU dad. I greeted them and Mr. OU had kind of a smug attitude to start things off, and in fact informed me they couldn't talk very long because they were off to the game. I told them both congrats on making it to the Big12CG and that I was an LSU alum and would be rooting for my Tigers in the SECCG. Mr. OU looked at me, as he was walking off and said "Well, LSU never does much anyway." I was like WTF?
I honest to god think I encountered this very same jerk during the 2004 Sugar Bowl. Just a smug a-hole who had no doubt OU was about to drum out Tigers.

The problem with OU fans is that they went to New Orleans with the attitude that there was no way that they could even come close to losing to LSU. We were just little LSU. They were already complaining about having to play the game in New Orleans. After that they hated Florida and said that they were the worst fans they had ever been around. But the love the Bama fans because they beat them when Bama sucked. So their fans were really nice. Get the pattern. They love the fans of the teams they beat and hate the fans of the teams that kick their arse.

In sum: Ohio State fans are great. We like them and they like us. They can dish it out and they can take it. They were fun.
Oklahoma fans seemed like big cry babies, they cant take shite. They are not fun. UT fans are better than they are.
Pretty much this. Sooner fans are easily the worst fans I've ever had to deal with. Bunch of little whimsy babies

That's a lot of fans to hate then...

Dang, I am almost ashamed to admit that I am going to get my graduate's degree from OU. One of my professors even gave me a Nike OU T-Shirt, I put it on once just to see what it would feel like and immediately felt out of place and like a traitor. Of course, I've never actually set foot on their campus, so I don't know what that actually makes me. I'll say I was at the 03 game as well and had no real issues with OU fans as I recall. I love the reports of so many bad experiences, yet for every bad story I hear I have probably heard 10 more great stories from other fans who absolutely love the LSU experience.

I am not going to bother with looking at that link because I already know what I'm going to see.
I was at that game and I saw no fan of either school acting inappropriately.
However, in the days leading up to the game, while my wife and I roamed around the Quarter, I saw plenty. The OU fans were horrible. They bragged incessantly about how many NC games they had won, etc. Many explained to me-I was wearing the purple and gold-how we didn’t even deserve to be on the same field, etc, etc, blah, and blah.
So I have the same low opinion of them as they do for us. They are especially mad because they were chalking this one up in the victory column. Too bad for them that they played an SEC powerhouse.
Lastly, when the game was over and we were all exiting the dome, it was strangely quiet. The LSU people were already over it and heading out to party. The OU fans were quietly miserable...and seething. They are really, really sore losers. Awful fans.

I still laugh every time I see Stoops correct Lynn Swann: "You mean the number one scoring defense in the country, they are! We're the number one total defense in the country!"
me too. i remembered when it happened. couldnt believe ole bobby went there
One of the saddest moments in OU history. If Stoops could've taken his ball and went home at that very moment, I believe he would have.
Lloyd Carr had a similar classless moment a few years earlier while talking to a sideline reporter. Even the announcers were like "I've known Lloyd Carr for years and he's a great man, one of the classiest guys you'd ever meet, but that was not his best moment." Lloyd Carr and Bob Stoops: two sideline fricktards of immense proportions.

Whenever I see things like this, I'm legit proud. We're loud, passionate, usually drunk, and don't give a damn what you think. If you can handle what we're dishing out, you will usually end up with free booze and the best food you've ever eaten in your life, completely free of charge.

I was at the game and I have to admit that I did witness something that was most disconcerting. I heard someone yelling "mommy mommy, those mean LSU fans were tiger baiting me...waahhhhh"
Sad part was, that guy looked at least 30 years old.
Most pussified fanbase I've ever seen to this day.
