Soni Fonua was abusing Deculus the first few series of Spring Game

Rewatching some spring game action, and he was abusing Deculus the first few series. I thought when we got him that it was probably not going to pan out, but he might be one to watch. Has a nice arsenal of moves.

I wouldn’t judge him by what he did against Deculus, who is really not that good.

I know It’s fashionable to ahit on Dec, but he won a vast majority of plays against him.
Deapite the defense just pinning their ears back every play, It’s not like Fonua was pressuring the QB every play.

Not shting on him, but damn he's out of position. He has guard feet. You can probably turn on any game he's had and he's gotten beat nearly every time. Burrow and Clyde covered his flaws and last year the QB play itself masked his flaws. Been saying it for a few years now. He should not be a tackle. Probably a good mauler inside with the attitude he plays with.

I didn't see the beginning but i just watched that myles brennan every throw video and he didn't get any pressure.
He is a back up to me. I feel like the ends struggled without gaye and anthony

BJ did well.
I actually Think Rosenthal is pretty good. But Anthony and Gaye obviously were missed
I also Think if you put the Purple Team Ends with the White Team DTs we wouldn’t have completed a pass.

Web was definitely a long OLB prospect that maybe will never be right for putting his hand in the dirt.
Really needs to bulk up, but I question. Whether a 4-3 is a right fit for him.
But Anthony/Gaye/Bj at DE and Roy/Smith Evans at DT

If Deculus was so bad then why don’t we have Dare and Cam Wire as the starting tackles..? I agree his feet are slow for RT, but he has been serviceable for a couple years now.. 2018 season his feet looked really slow, but he improved enough to help us win a NC...
