From the relative lack of comments (1 Page), I would guess few care. Football would have ten pages by now.

Yeah, because there have been very few comments about Johnny Jones and the basketball team on here lately. Ok...

I thought the problem was jealousy from TQ but now I'm not so sure the problem isn't Ben the way his attitude has changed. I can't remember witch game it was but JJ called a TO and JJ chewed on Ben. Ben acted pissed because JJ called the TO.

Leadership, or lack of, starts at the top with the head coach. If the head coach can't motivate his players, it's time to go.

I don't care to speculate on who is jealous of who or who resents who. Bottom line, these are kids.
It's the coach's job to get take charge, mete out discipline, clear the air, and utilize this team's talent. If he can't do that, it's time for a new coach.

You seem to have forgotten the most crippling deficiency ... they cant play defense! LSU opponents have figured out that LSU cannot defend against the lay up.
Similar to football ... some nice talent but yikes coaching.

happened right in front of us. Was Moo State game. JJ motioned for Simmons to call a TO and Simmons waved him off. JJ then got Victor to call the TO and thats when he went in on Simmons

mikey nailed it lastnight, I don't think I've ever disliked an LSU basketball team as much as this one. It's just excruciating to watch

Could be a factor, may not be, but the team did play hard against a hot Alabama team they barely beat earlier. After those comments, they got rolled by two teams that are already out of it.
It wasn't a false statement, but it also wasn't what you want from coming down from the AD. He could have phrased it better, saying something like there was still a very good opportunity to get hot and get in (at that point, the team could have won out and gone 23-10, and almost certainly be in). Could have stated that the season was not yet over, let the games play out.
He didn't, he said that as it stood, LSU was likely out of the tournament, and had a lot of work to do to be considered.

And this is why I dont watch LSU Basketball... not worth getting all pissed off over. We're rarely good much stand a chance at winning it all, so why care? Bseball and football will be my fall and spring worries of choice.

While I agree that TQ's draft stock has fallen, he is still a second round pick and will not have any problems "mak[ing] the NBA D-League." How well he will perform when he gets there is certainly up for debate. But, let's not forget that NBA drafts on potential and TQ's size and potential is intriguing to a lot of teams.
