He is just pandering to his butthurt delusional fan base. If he shows any kind of professional courtesy to Lane they will be after him with pitchforks. Its pretty sad. It will be very funny to watch him put together his first ever offensive staff and build his first ever roster, then live up to the hype OM fans have. They are in for an epic awakening.

Frankly, Pete will do what he needs to to get paid big $ for as long as he can. He most likely would have never risen to this level of the coaching ranks without Lane leaving Ole Miss high and dry
