It's sad when 7-5 seems like a win at this point. Absolutely no way we make it to that number. We'll finish below .500

The only way I see it he has to finish the season at 3-9 and the team continues to quit down the stretch like they did in the MSU game and yes at that point the groundswell will be that big that will get him fired - I think.

There will be just too much publicity around firing a 9/10win per year coach to hire a coach that went 10-28 in his only stint as HC not interim. I feel that is the only way he is fired this year, and it is a stretch because they are going to have to fire Alleva first in order to do this which I feel will happen also if he goes 3-9, with the team quitting on him. 4-8 and he is back and if he is 3-9 but the team doesn't quit on him I honestly feel that would save him for a year.

My true fear is that Saban in a stroke of genius decides to give away the LSU game. We got 5-7 but that Bama win gets Alleva and O a contract extension

Anything North of 3/9 saves him IMO

He coaches 2018 regardless.
I think so too. Even if LSU doesn't win another game this season (a real possibility, but I don't think so), O will be here next year.

there is absolutely no chance that a bcs coach is fired after 1 year for a poor record. even 2 would be rare.

I think Alleva gets fired but O stays through next year unless he goes winless the rest of the year.

I think this is what will happen, but I think a 4-8 season would also get him fired if the lone sec win is against a very down Ole Miss or Tennessee team.

Hodsontofuller, please look up Ellis JOhnson at USM. he coached one year and one year only and was let go. Not saying it will happen here but it does happen.

Well let's face it he already is a genius so he doesn't need help to get there. That being said no way Saban throws the game he is just way too competitive. Would it be smart of him to do it, just look at what O has done so far - hell yeah it would be smart of him. But no way he does that, way too competitive those juices will take over and throw intelligence straight into the wind.

No way LSU makes a bowl this year. With that con-artist coaching LSU.

He has thrown everyone under the bus..... they will not play for him anymore.
