If John Brady was given 25 years, he would have his name on the court instead of Dale Brown’s. In less than half the time, Brady racked up almost half the wins Brown had, had one final four, was 2x SEC Champion and 2x SEC coach of the year.

You know it’s true. So did Dale, that’s why he had him fired. This revisionist bullshite from you boomers about your daddy Dale is pathetic.

So you are stupid enough to think that Dale Brown was not successful

4 SEC Championships

No, you're the one implying that Dale brown was unsuccessful. Then comparing him to a coach with a losing SEC record and a lower overall winning percentage.

And of course you then get triggered and somehow act like calling out your absurd statement is suggesting Dale brown is one of the greatest coaches of all time.

You're just not very bright.

SO for your little brain to derive some comfort.

Dale brown was a very good and a successful coach. He was not a great coach. He was not the best coach to ever coach at LSU. He was a great motivator and a fairly good recruiter, that is how he stayed successful for the period of time he did.

John Brady may very well be the best actual "coach" LSU has had. He had some issues related to recruiting including some abrasive relationships with certain AAU coaches, this made his path harder. He was also reported to have pot off some of the influential donors which may have put him on the short leash he was on, I was kind of surprised when they let him go. I appreciate him as the color commentator for radio broadcasts.

Will Wade brought great energy to LSU and did a fantastic job IMO. But he was clumsy and set himself up for a fall. How LSU should have handled all this is debatable, the fact that he did created the situation is not.

frick Will Wade. If he weren’t so goddamn stupid he could still be coaching LSU. He’s a moron.

How can any person call themselves an LLSU fan if they hope something happens that is negative for LSU just so they can be proven right.
I am an LSU fan. I support every single team outside a few outliers like the lacrosse and a few others (small niche sports and their families).

I don't hope something happens, this current issue we have with the men's basketball team can be precisely blamed on the decision of one man. I don't support what Scott did with WW, as the bball program was on the right track. This decision has put the men's bball team back years, if not a decade. And before you say, well not possible, look at the program over the last 2 decades with the exception of WW and you can see a clear difference. MM had an offseason and brought what he could over, and look at the results. If you look at the next recruiting class, not much promise either. It wouldn't be a really far-fetched idea that the program is now back in the shape it was prior to WW, or regrettably worse.

So before you start hurling that around, take a real look at the state of the program and what changed versus other schools and their decisions to keep their coaches. LSU was the only one who chose to dismiss their coach and it looks guilty.

The only person triggered in our exchange is you, grandpa. You’ve levied one lame insult after the other since I dared challenge the resume of your beloved daddy Dale. I presented hard data points and so far all you’ve done is say yOurE dUmB and then talk about the great motivator Dale Brown was as if that in any fricking way translated to his abysmal on court resume

Take your Metamucil and go to bed.

Then why be so upset over a guy that was never going to get LSU past the sweet 16 if they will never pull an A-list coach?

I hope LSU one day becomes a basketball power if, for no other reason, it will bring about knowledgeable fans.

Wade had the best five year start to a career in LSU history. Yet, 60% of the “fanbase thinks he was a terrible coach. ALL while we eagerly wait to see if the current HC can avoid losing to a 3 win SEC team by less than 10 points

Well, maybe you will be one of the lucky ones that doesn’t have to live long enough to be a senior citizen since you seem to have a problem with older people. I don’t wish an early death on anyone but if it has to happen to someone maybe it should be someone with that attitude. If you are unlucky and live a long time I hope it comes back to bite you in the arse. Prick.
