Feels like we’ve regressed a fair bit in the last few seasons

Where have I heard that before?

Let Deangelo be the face of the program now. That's what our woke AD & coaches want

Seriously man, give it a rest. Stop paying attention to LSU sports if it bothers you that much. I really don’t think LSU or any of us would be sad if your complaining arse left.

I think a change at coach is needed. Start completely fresh and move forward with new assistants. The program peaked a few years back and has been sliding since. Good recruiting, but players are not developing and getting better as a whole. Sure a few bright spots Pleasants and Briggs, and a few flashes from Gutierez. Pitching and Defense win in the SEC and mediocre will not do it.

Hitting is in the bottom 3rd of the SEC
Defense is in the bottom 3rd of the SEC
Pitching in the bottom half of the SEC

Florida is rebuilding and was SEC Co-Champion, Arkansas and Missouri have passed LSU up. Clemson just started their program and are already top 20. I do not see a strong showing coming during the regional.

I have had tickets for over 10 years and have invested in the program. I am just hoping for a competitive product. I know Woodward is not afraid to make bold moves hopefully softball will be his next big turnaround.

I think a change at hitting coach is needed immediately. Of course, it’s a catch-22. If Beth pulls a Les Miles and is blindly loyal to Dobson, then her seat should start warming up and we will eventually need a head coach.

I think what needs to immediately happen the day after the season ends is that Woodward calls the HSBC in and says “Beth, we need to talk about your hitting coach.”

Torina is probably the best coach on campus.

Well I can assure you, we don't want either one of them to become Aggie fans. You can keep the criminal thug and the big boy in the cowboy hat.

The thug makes you guys look so bad..hahaha

One thing you fail to take into consideration is the strength of schedule LSU has played this year. LSU softball has played an incredible hard schedule, unlike ANY of the other SEC teams this year. Playing so many games against the top teams in the nation will, of course, bring statistics down across the board. All hitting and pitching stats will no doubt be worse than other teams because of the schedule. Unfortunately, many uninformed fans only look at stats and overall records to decide how good and player or teams is.

I do believe Torina made a mistake in scheduling such a tough schedule. I believe the rigorous schedule has played a toll on some of the players mentally and dropped the confidence some.
