Two more weeks
Next week - State Semi-Finals. Teams can still decide with each other format (2 out of 3 or single game), location, umpires, etc.
Two weeks - state finals... all single games at the University of Texas at Austin... 11 games (2 divisions for conferences 2A-6A, 1 division for 1A)
Tonight's game was Pharr-San Juan-Alamo from the Rio Grande Valley and Dripping Springs in 6A-Division 2 at Corpus Christi Calallen. PSJA won 4-2 to sweep the series. As normal, the Valley teams travel well and are loud. I posted the final out on X from our Texas Prep Softball Coaches Association which I'm the director of @txprepsoftball... feel free to check it out.

I just tried to watch the game from yesterday and I was wondering why we wore the teal jerseys. I'm not giving an opinion at all, but I'm only used to seeing them for the ovarian cancer benefit weekend. So I'm wondering if I missed a special occasion.

I would really love to see our girls win this regional, I think winning a Super would be a big ask given the probable match up, but winning this regional is not, let's get it done!!
