I think taking 2 of 3 from Arkansas, who is top 7 RPI, would just about seal a top-8 seed.

I thought 5-7 the last 12 SEC games would be good enough. We are currently 3-6.

Good for Beth, she's taken some hits here including from me, but I'm glad we won and over a very good team.

Confidence is such a huge factor and momentum as well.

As a former Coach, all I can say is,"Preach". The problem is as a coach (in my experiences) you really can't do much about building confidence.

Some say, "repetition" builds confidence. It does in terms of physical confidence, but it's the "mental" confidence that has to come from the player and there's not much you can do as a Coach about that.

Why don’t you go on their forum and btch about their Coach instead of bashing him for losing to LSUs Softball team. It blows my mind that the Rant not you particular, whines about Beth constantly and then she wins against a highly ranked hot Florida team, then bash their Coach for losing. This place though I love it never ceases to amaze me.

I'd rather not say. I only coached softball one year - and really was forced to do it.

I was a basketball and volleyball coach mostly - two of the sports I never played in high school.

Only asked because I've coached HS softball in both Louisiana and Texas and I know so many coaches. I was wondering if I knew you or not... guess I don't lol

Have you only coached Softball? If so, I probably don't know you.

I don’t watch a ton of softball but I had the game on late Sunday afternoon.

Why don’t the girls use Marucci softball bats? I found that very interesting.

I alsi coached football & head girls basketball, while head softball coach from 1987-1995 in Louisiana,. Coached softball only in Texas until 2012 when I became a principal. Retired from public schools in 2017 & coached softball in private schools until 2023.

I'm probably older than you. Lol

I'm 57, first year retired. I don't want to say too much, but my first job was a PE teacher at an Elementary School in Rosenberg, Tx. in 93. I was in Louisiana the rest of the time.

Wife is tired of me. I'm bored most of the time, but I'm finally getting used to it.

Did you have to take "Texas History" in order to teach/coach in Texas like I had to do?
