Got it. Kloss was the starting catcher and after the 2nd out in the 1st inning, Jaquish came in.

At the beginning of game Beth put Jaquish as a 5th infielder against slappers and Kloss behind the plate. No one in right field. Then after 1st batter Thornhill went back to lf and Jaquish to catch. All that movement had Lu fire up.

I like this move. Smith will have plenty of opportunities to get conference experiences when we play the scrubs on the back end of the schedule.

And that is legal to do with the DP / Flex rule.
Both are in the batting order so either one or both can be on defense at the same time. When both are on defense then the Flex player comes out. Hope I explained that right.

That explains it clearly for me!! I've done that before.
And if it gets Lu fired up, I'm all for it.

I do not think many coaches in the SEC like Coach Torina too much, but I could honestly care less and I think she does not care at all haha.

In the last few seasons, just in-game dynamics between the coaches. Whether arguing pitches or calls, lineup changes, it seems as there is a little bit of dislike haha
