This series is more on the offense then the pitching and defense. Its usually way tougher to pitch not to give up more runs when you are tied or behind.
I feel like these pitchers are frustrated. Pitch really well all game and the offense can't do anything

Griggs actually had a great game today 
I know we have faced good pitchers lately but its no excuses for such poor performances at the plate. Not sure how we go so far backwards.

If we don't improve at the plate starting next weekend i will be concerned. Hopefully somehow we can get some what going tomorrow. Some what encouraging thing was to see Griggs getting hits maybe she's coming around now. Just need the others to step up.

The girls just aren't very good this year. Beth has gotten us to 2 wcws,but I don't see us ever winning a title.

Here we go....
We practically did last year with a much younger team. Two college WCWS appearances in a short amount of time is pretty good. Lets see how this year plays out first. We have a top recruiting class coming in next year as well. Calm down.

If you read softball threads closely enough, you will see that there are a couple of trolls who basically ruin it for everyone else. Not sure if they are disgruntled parents, or just regular assholes, but they will come here and spew their venom. They have some sort of hidden agenda toward the coach and several players. If you ignore them, you will see that most of the true followers are pretty happy with the program and are just a little frustrated that we can't score runs at the moment.

It really is inevitable. We aren't playing our best right now, so the natural extension is to take it out on the coach, justified or not. It will all be forgotten with another WCWS run, which we're fully capable of if we can get our offense going again.
