Too many holes on this team to win a lot. Now with Hoover out it will be even tougher. Girls made bonehead decicions all game that extended innings and hitting deficiencies that have not improved. Guess it will be next year when hopefully someone becomes a leader that inspires. Oh, well.

Left Allee in too long. Bunting when she shouldnt have bunted. I think it could have been coached better.. just an opinion. I dont understand pulling Dawson and letting Allee bat Oh well, she tried what she thought would work. Cant blame her.
Hitting issues,, still Doyle is way off the plate, and pitches in the strike zone are not reachable for her. I thought maybe they put Springfield in or Gorsuch,,Satchell maybe to pinch hit for Serret, who is still struggling at the plate

If we lose the series we will not be hosting at all. If you want to host we need to win the series and win one or two in the SEC tournament.
Pitching wasn't the best this game. Still have way too many holes offensively, all throughout the lineup. Everyone knows how to play LSU now. You walk jaquish and pitch only to the opposite side of the plate. Its a bit concerning that there still isn't adjustments many of our hitters. Doyle played pretty well had some nice plays defensively.

South Carolina is is dead last in the conference in pitching
An SEC ERA around 5, highest opponent batting average, they don't give up many homeruns but they give up a lot of extra base hits as well.

357, Beth says Hoover is day to day. You would think they may have taken an MRI and found something. If its a tear why not have surgery now and have her ready for next year? It does look like she will have trouble with it the rest of the year.

I am not sure if she has had an MRI or any scan done yet but I imagine if it was significant they would do something by now. Regardless if she pitches or not I am not very confident in how we will fair this post season with our hitting.
