So much potential, such bad execution at the plate and on the field. Coaching?

That was disappointing. Could have been a big win.

Pleasants has never been the best defensive player but she is a freshmen in a big game. Gorsuch just straight up over threw Clark on the grounder to her

The bats are another story. Its not just one person, too much youth and inexperience but some of the returners have been pretty poor at the plate this year (Stewart and Doyle)

We got to get better at the plate and clean up defensively.

True freshman. Thrown into the fire. Her play is somewhat to be expected.

Gorsuch

Is a senior. That play was like watching a freshman.

Washington did not have an earned run. Two of the three errors led to all of WU's runs. This game is totally on the defense.

Granted a limited sample size, but we were like 3rd in the conference in fielding before the last two days. You'd figure we wouldn't be frazzled by being on the road since they weren't kicking it around in Lafayette, which was actually a hostile environment.

Why does it always have to be "coaching"? Maybe the players are humans and not machines and they are prone to not being 100% perfect.

How quick people turn on players over a play or two.

Gorsuch has been great this year, one bad throw and it’s the end of the world for some fans. Errors happen even to the really good players.

I feel great about our pitching situation to keep us in every game, they are improved this year.

There is a lot of youth and inexperience that are playing right now. Cummins, Clark, Tidwell, Briggs, Pleasants and Jones are all very inexperienced. As they get more reps, I think they can grow. In contrast to the group last year where everyone was almost or was a senior. When you have so much inexperience, there will be some bumps in the road. I think we have seen flashes but so far 2 wins vs Ok St, ULL, and. Texas Tech is a solid start to OOC resume. Just keep improving each week. The entire foundation of our team is freshmen and sophomores.

Get a win tomorrow, polish up next weekend before SEC play. Its just going to be a process this year. We have the chance to enter SC series 21-3.

Btw, LMU just beat a top 15 Michigan team 2-1.

Washington game was a test for the CWS. So yeah typical Beth Torina not willing her team to victory over cream of the crop teams.

Will that ever change?
