I like our chances against everyone here except oklahoma if we show up. I think we can beat UCLA and ull. They have the best records out the bunch.

Sorry, but I don't see us even getting out of our own regional unless the bats heat up big time. We got our asses handed to us by the Gumpettes. There's no way we could complete with OU.

I dont put a lot of stock into this past week. We got some girls who need to get healthy, and we have had to run the gauntlet this month. I feel good about this team heading into the post sesaon

We will see. It's basically a new season now. It's just a shame that we had the regular season championship and a top 8 seed within our grasp before we tanked.

Bruh, didn't we get swept by Bama? I don't understand your logic.

Please stop posting, you only came barging in after they started losing games for the first time really all year.

LSU is hosting a regional, definitely not a super regional. If they would have gone .500 in the last 3 weeks of the year they would have gotten it. They lost the Arkansas and Alabama series. Lost to a not so good Baylor team and then cap off the regular season with a shutout loss to Florida in the SECT. We head into post season on a 5 game losing streak.

If the bats don't wake up, the season will end shortly. We have scored 5 runs in our last 5 games. The hitting has completely fallen off and now the defense is making errors on top of it. If Amanda Sanchez's bat doesn't get going, there will be a lot of issues. Her bat is far too important for LSU's success.

Sunseri and Wickersham are coming into their own in the circle but don't expect them to pitch shutouts the entire post season. The offense will have to put up runs. Even if Walljasper and Hoover were still here, the offense needs to be a lot better to win moving forward.

We won the series against them in the regular season, 1 out away in game one from a sweep.

Well Torina usually has them playing pretty great ball come NCAA time so I’m hoping their bats wake up and can at least get us out of a regional. Our RPI will finish 9-10 which would match us against a 7 or 8. We could potentially see Florida in a super.

I think ULL will probably end up in Austin and we’ll Texas Tech—soTaylor Hatchell as former Tigers back in town. but just a hunch.

Edited to move OSU as possible regional host. Cowgirls should host their own regional with an RPI of 12

Eh I am a LSU homer but don't agree with this. I do think our pitching is good enough to definitely handle 90% of the country. The elite offenses I am extremely skeptical on to be honest. Elite offenses I would say (UCLA, OU, FSU, Arizona) are offenses that are on a whole other level relative to the rest of the country. That is not to say our pitching is not very good. I think they are very good but not elite yet.

I do think Sunseri and Wickersham will be much better next year and definitely be on a much higher level once they fine tune and develop some more pitches. Sunseri being injured and unable to practice much her freshmen year in the bullpen put her behind schedule but she will get there.

On a side note, Texas lost to Oklahoma State earlier. LSU likely ends as a 9 or 10 seed. Projections at the moment have Texas tech coming to tiger park. LSU will definitely be facing one of the weaker national seeds. Not all is lost. Just get hot during regionals then anything is possible

Things are getting interesting on the seeding front. Texas lost earlier to Oklahoma State and is currently losing again to Iowa State.

Say what you want about this years team but I personally think it is the staffs best job maybe since arrival.

Beth has taken pitchers with limited experience and average stuff and made them formidable against some of the best teams in the country.

Howard has been lights out on the offensive side. He has totally transformed the make up and attitude of this offense. In my opinion he should be the national assistant of the year if such an award exist.

A Sanchez has been a monster addition, Sunseri is an absolute star and after three years of anemic play, Shemiah has been one of the best surprises in all of college softball. Andrews is quite possibly the best lead off hitter in the country.

I don’t think we can win it all but anyone that doesn't acknowledge the unbelievable results this staff and team have put together this year has a chip about something other than on field results.

We can finish strong and still make a run at the WCWS.
