We beat bama this year with Ridley swapped for Chark. And I LOVE Chark! Ridley catches, or gets PI called, on at least two of the three long balls Chark missed or misjudged. Game changer.

Lol Jesus Christ. No. Chark has been great for us and would have been even better with a guy like lock. A wide receiver would not have helped us. Qb has to get it to him. You think Ridley would have changed the outcome of games because he could adjust to severely undertgrown balls better than chark?? Ok.

No. LSU beat them 42-7 with Lock.

Maybe bama.

No less than Danielson said during that game that he needed to adjust to those three balls.

Still a big fan of Chark. Great kid.

I'm 99% confident we would have Won if we had a good quarterback. Its mind boggling why this administration is unable to solve for this over the last 10 years. Make it happen - or get out of the way.

We’d be in college football with or without Baker Mayfield. You probably meant CFP*

Lmao no Lock is hot garbage. You can find dozens of QBs who put up numbers in these flag football offenses every year and none of them can beat anybody with a pulse. Did you see Lock vs LSU las year? Why wasn’t anyone asking this question after Etling totally outplayed him in that game?

He was like 19/37 against us, 1 INT. We had 600+ yards of total offense and 6 rushing TD’s. Still threw 23 TD’s last year, double of Etling this year.

Drew Lock might’ve been better on our team as a football player, but we’re fine without his **** arse. Someone or something better preferably.

Maybe not win the SEC but would have made the playoff with only 1 loss

Does this improved qb play somehow teach our recievers how to catch? If not, than I doubt he’s win us more than one extra game.

Hurts struggles with accuracy. I know Etling also does at times, but he has a better grasp of the passing game.

Hurts can make plays with his feet but I would not trust him to lead a long drive in a hurry up offense. Etling has done it a few times against good defenses. Auburn last year albeit one second late, Florida last year until Guice ran the wrong way.

I am not saying Hurts can't be effective if he can break off a couple of long runs on scrambles. But if the defense plays contain on him and he has to lead a long drive through the air I am not sold that he can do it over 10 to 12 plays.

He has lead drives before, and when you focus on having to contain him stopping his running ability it opens up things for the other athletes.

He is really good, I'll agree on that. Would look pretty good in black & gold.

Stop the idiotic crap. Mizzou is 7-5. The kid hasn't led Mizzou to anything so wtf do you think he would do at LSU.
Dumb question. Some of you must be young kids to come up with t his stupidity.

I’ll take the OC too because Lock wouldn’t do that in Canada’s offense.

That should read "if we had Saban". He could have morphed even (gasp) Etling into a SEC champion QB.
