Florida may find, IF Kelly is actually hired, that he might not be as successful as everyone thinks. I don't see his offense doing well in the SEC. For one, SEC defenses are much better consistently than the PAC 12 was and his spread really stresses his own defense, which might get eaten up by Georgia, Bama and LSU running games.

Sec defenses overall arent really that great...he's in a talent rich state where he doesnt have to travel like he did at oregon..he just has to surround himself with recruiters

I don't want him at Florida. In fact, he was my #1 choice to replace Miles in the '16 off-season.

Maybe 5 years ago. The sec is a shadow of what it once was. If Kelly were to take the job he’d have the potiential to be a force. However, he’s probably gonna go back to the west coast, or just count his pesos as an analyst.

I never said he sucked anywhere in my post. I am just not scared as many people on this board are. Oregon never really played defense when he coached there. He was a innovator when it came to the hurry up and spread formations. Now college football defenses have caught up to that. I just think he would not be as successful as many want to believe.
