We won’t really know. Portal was open right smack dab in the middle of our run while others were sitting at home on the phone. Not an excuse just a fact of the portal and the season. I’m sure he was still working it while in Omaha but also focusing on the next game.

I think we also just got a late start because we were winning a CWS while some teams were hosting recruits.
And honestly we have seen post CWS finals hangovers hit a lot of teams because of this.

Caraway was swinging out of his shoes and Jay acknowledged that in so many words. Same with Dardar and Yorke.
Caraway has cut down his swing a bit and has made more consistent contact
Dardar as well. He was choking up with two strikes last night. It seems every time he makes contact the defense has him played perfectly

I understand we need to do better then miss st but they don’t care about football like they do baseball. Hence more money going to baseball percentage wise compared to lsu. Same for ga tech I would imagine. Maybe mot ucla or tennessee.
