So Nuss hasn’t even been practicing with the team?
Is that verified?

No, that post is not verified or true. Nuss has been present & involved in bowl practices. LSU Football posted a video from the 1st bowl practice & Nuss was the only guy shown making throws in practice.

I for one think NCAA told LSU long ago it was a no go on granting the fifth game without burning redshirt.

Myles Brennan = importance of RS... come on.

That’s an exception that is not normal. Had Burrow not transferred to LSU Myles would have been our starter whether he was ready or not. I still stand by what I say. These kids will transfer in a New York minute at QB soon as the realization that some other guy is going to start in front of them. Might as well get some more in game experience now because the recruit from Lafayette may take his spot next season. If you are NFL worthy three years removed from high school is all you need to jump to the league.

Is O-Dowd able to play? One report indicated he had a foot injury that would prevent him from playing.

He has turf toe with a raging case of athletes foot that been inflamed since Thanksgiving. I think he’s a game time decision and listed as questionable.

LSU has flown in, Kansas State flew in Thursday. Both teams are participating in the bowl game traditions, including the rodeo tonight.

Brian Kelly outcoaching them! We are getting those K-State baws infected at the rodeo so THEY will have to cancel and we win the forfeit!

Let's not throw any passes. We will win with field goals and defense.

You think the NCAA is mulling this over and dragging their feet? Why would the NCAA give any fricks that LSUs starting QB transferred and LSU doesn't want to burn the backups redshirt or Play walk ons? That's an LSU problem, not an NCAA problem.

Especially as we don’t really have a good answer to the question “So we allowed 4 games before a redshirt is burned just for that scenario. Why didn’t you save one?”

If Nuss is ruled out with RS, then it will be Faulk or O'Dowd. Kirklin will play too. seems like it's gone under the radar, but CB Raydarious Jones was a dual threat in HS. 6A State Champion in MS

Is all of the holding necessary?

I think we got our answer with Shea Dixon's depth chart.

Nuss will start. They wouldn't have him on the depth chart if he had been ruled out. Maybe he told them he doesn't care about the RS anymore.
