We are screwed since the coaches barely played him this past year.

There won't be any explosion from any QB unless the offense changes. Not saying Harris isn't capable of it, just that our offensive scheme or lack there of won't allow too much exploding from anyone.

Have you always been a fan or did you forget to watch the 2013 season?

If LSU had a qb this past year there would be no negativity at all.

I don't think the defense was good enough early for us to go undefeated. I think Miss St and Auburn still beat us.

Unless we have very good QB play and are just dominant on offense.

We were still close to beating Miss State anyway. However if we had shown a pulse earlier on, Miss State may have been less likely to bench its starters.

He outplayed Jennings in the Spring last year and you see where that got us!

If he does good. Everyone thinks he has the talent, but if it doesn't work out, then it is one more slash against Les Miles in the quarterback development category.

Maybe the QBs were getting aren't that good.

You do know that the vast majority of schools in college football don't have a QB worth a damn, don't you?

Man I wonder how different things would be had Perriloux not been a knucklehead.

Most wouldn't give Les credit for not playing a guy who wasn't ready for full time status...they'll give Harris credit for maturing and taking ownership of the position.

Yes, all will be forgiven. Some will still gripe because Les didn't play him last year though.

When your hand is forced is it really "seeing the light"? I wouldn't think so.

Les has no choice to play Harris. This was his recruiting pitch to get Malachi to sign and Tyron to commit...if Harris is not the QB, shite will hit the fan.

I hate to say this, but their offense took the foot off the gas.

They ran 15 of their last 15 plays and punted to us with 20 seconds to go.

We definitely made it a game, but if we come out scoring actually point before we are down 34-10 then they don't take their foot off the gas pedal and they score was more than 34.

Is all well with Miles then?

Absolutely. Assuming the defense doesn't take a major step back fixing the QB would put us in serious contention for a championship. We like to freak out on this board but truth be told LSU is VERY close to putting it all together. I know it's easier said than done but it's not like the entire team is a dumpster fire.

I hope Harris wins out but Miles will select Jennings as his QB.

There are the negatigers who will never be "well" with Miles but most fans just want LSU to be competitive in championship hunts again. If Harris, or ANY qb, turns the corner & becomes a functional asset to the team, LSU will be right in the thick of things & the fans will be happy. There's a lot of frustration right now because it seems LSU is always a qb away from being the team we want/can/should be. If Cam & Miles can develop a qb & an offense that can maximize the talent on that side of the ball, coupled with the talent on defense, all will be well.

What pisses me off is that Harris still doesnt have meaningful experience. I have no idea why Miles wouldnt pull AJ in the Arky game. Also, why the frick does our offensive staff wait until a meaningless bowl game to start using motion and throwing to the te? Why wait until then to implement new wrinkles to the offense?
