I may regret asking this, but what makes you so 100% positive that the gun was stolen?

Why would it be illegal to sell your own property?

if you buy a stolen gun are you accountable for not verifying first?
In Louisiana, lack of knowledge that the firearm was stolen is an affirmative defense.
That means all the prosecution has to do is show that the defendant possessed the stolen firearm. Then the burden shifts to the defendant to prove that he did not know it was stolen.

This is the truth.
After all, how much more likely is it that a recruit will stay home when he is treated respectfully in the area and on this board, as opposed to "fans" stereotyping everyone and spouting a bunch of racist crap..?
The people doing the spouting are then surprised when the recruit decides to head someplace else for their college career. Not that Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, Auburn, Oxford or College Station are any more tolerant than BR...
But it's something we should really think about.

Sworn instruments? I dont think so.
Maybe a bill of sale, but thats not even required.

I'm not of the belief that this board has anything to do with recruiting, but I just feel everyone deserves respect and I certainly believe in respecting our players that are putting their bodies on the line for our entertainment. Plus, racism is completely ignorant.

This right here says alot.

I know lots of people who have done this. I even drafted and notarized one once.

It does. If there was any doubt, they would have at least held them for more questioning even if they didn't put them in holding.

Because he's black

Again, where are some of you getting the information thay the gun was stolen? Just pulling it out of your asses?
Seems much more likely that he owned it legally, seeing as his dad is a LEO.

I'm just trying to picture how CEH was able to get the first shot in. The guy was in the backseat, with his gun drawn, and CEH was able to pull, cock, turn around and accurately shoot chest then head. That's impressive.

You don't need to do an FFL transfer in Louisiana? I thought that was a federal requirement for transferring ownership of handguns.
I know we have to do that in Tennessee even when selling between private parties.

No. No registration or any documentation

You're overthinking a situation that you know little about.

If it turns out the idiot just had a BB gun like some people are saying, then that would explain CEH being able to get the shot off.
I’m still waiting for any reason to believe that the gun was stolen.

Cock? Nobody that regularly carries, whether on their person or in their car, is carrying without one in the chamber.

if he’s carrying, I’d hope his gun was already chambered.

The guy pulled a BB gun and pointed it at Clyde's teammate. Clyde is a police officer's son and has been trained extensively on how to use a hand gun. What other details do you need?
