We definitely can't trust the SEC to treat us evenly any more. Sankey and other SEC leaders will hate LSU for the foreseeable future. I'm definitely in favor of what LSU is doing, but we're in a very odd position at the moment.

In the past, we have had to find ways to overcome the odds being in the SEC and even with all the bullshite thrown our way, we have played in 4 national championships this century. Everybody knows if someone finds a special way to do that continuously, the rest of college football is fricked. They know it is coming w/ Lane. The amount of fear mongering going on right now is palpable. Just buckle up, get ready and understand all this bullshite is gonna be worth it. Lane is pro player, and they all see it. There are gonna be studs lining up at our door for years to come to come play for us.

I would definitely float the possibility of suing the SEC and Stankey, as I've said earlier today.... for slander, conspiring to have LSU removed from the SEC, and throw in coercion, as well as forced compliance.

The relationship is beyond repair. Either LSU or Sankey will leave or the conference will tear itself apart. Sankey will be the one to go

Sankey has lost control. All the self sanctimonious self serving prick universities are piling on and no one at the helm to tap the breaks. And handle this shite internally. When Chambliss and Pavia got to break the rules, all order went out the window.

Btw, I seriously doubt there is any way the SEC can harm LSU without serious financial repercussions. LSU has choices, even if the SEC tries to come down on them, it opens a whole can of shite on the SEC.

One thing is certain. There's no school in the SEC besides LSU that has proven itself to stand up against those who are entrenched against the rights of the players. That should work well in future recruiting.

LSU has always been the redheaded stepchild of the SEC, but there's culpability here, all around on this issue, regardless of outcome. LSU pushing the eligibility issue, and the SEC doing it's dead level best to protect its Darlings, ie, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, all of which cried holy hell about this. Note nothing has been said about Texas or Oklahoma in regards to this issue.

We aren’t too far away from the superconferrnces becoming a reality and LSU won’t be left out of that.

Not to mention, Sankey may get replaced soon anyway once the transcript from today’s hearing is released.

Yall can go independent for a year and join the big 12 or the big 10. It’s not the end of the world.

Sankey is getting bad advice from the SEC legal team. With everything based in Birmingham, they are tainted and making biased sanctimonious decisions. They expected LSU to back down, but they didn’t. Now they’re gathered their minions and are now afraid to look foolish, so they are doubling down. IMO, a big mistake.

I agree and I am good with either direction. But one has to go, this is not salvageable with Stankey.
The only thing that worries me is that the justice system in American is at an all time low, and quite frankly that is the only way I can see LSU not winning any lawsuit that come about.
But America is weird right now in the courtrooms.
I have no problem lining up with ND and being the top two independents in America. We will make the playoffs every single year...Geaux Tigers

The rest of the SEC already hates us, and we hate them. This has to end with Sankey being removed as commissioner. The guy is clueless.

Pretty much the same treatment the NFL has for the Saints!
