pretty clever move as they probably guessed his attorneys told him not to engage.

I could be misreading this, but to me Rousse joining the call just to tell them he isn’t participating due to pending litigation on the same day LSU’s attorneys entered court proceedings for a “continued” lawsuit is a shite or get off the pot move.

It strikes me as LSU saying, “we think you’re bluffing and if you’re not we think you’re going to lose… so drop it or bring it”

When people are suing you, you don’t sit down and talk about it.

You don’t get in a situation where they can put pressure on you to concede. Make admissions or get you to agree to things.

You let them do what they want. Then you attack what they have done.

What the SEC is does start with an S and end with a D, but it's not the word shrewd.

No
What happened is those dumbass saw Saban saying “Protect College Sports Act” and realized
1. We pissed off the Speaker of the House without any evidence.
2. Pissed off a Vanderbilt grad and former Democrat and now Republican senator from Louisiana.

Then they thought. Uh oh
