So, to me this seems like a "Right-to-Work" Issue

If a guy still has eligibility remaining and goes down the street for potentially a better opportunity and it doesn't work out. Why can't he go back to his old place of work or find work elsewhere?

How can anyone prevent his right-to-work and ability to find gainful employment

When other fanbases refer to people doing mental gymnastics to take a situation and play it in their favor, this post will be bookmarked.

Coming next….
Unions
Gender quotas
ADA compliance

It’s an absolute shite show.
This is why you can’t have nice things.

Right to work laws are about unions.

I've founded 4 companies in my career, 2 in LA and 2 in VA. I have had good employees leave for what they thought would be a better situation. When it didn't work out, they came back and I hired them.

Yes, but in a post-House settlement CFB, a player at one of the schools in that settlement is guaranteed money, so denying a player eligibility denies him the opportunity to make money. That puts the onus on the NCAA to apply its eligibility rules fairly and equally moreso than before.

This is the argument.

If the SECs rule keeps them from playing, even if directed at the schools, the SEC could be subject to civil cases for each plantiff. Do they want to be on the hook for 15 players max market value? And that number is sure to grow.

In this situation, they understood that their only option to keep working was to go to the new company. When they found out they could stay at the old company they loved and were the best fit for, they decided to come back. They also didn’t pass the new companies skill requirements anyway it turns out.

Now, they are told they can’t play for the old company because it will ruin the integrity of the old company somehow.
