If it was an LSU wide receiver I’d be screaming it was a catch.

Take off the purple and gold glasses people....

It was a catch.... It was targeting. Y'all sound like my wife.

No way the refs were not going to allow a catch like that which could be plastered on the weekly highlight shows and to give praise to big market, California...

I mean it looked like there was enough to overturn it to me - but adapt and overcome. I'm sure there are calls USC is critiquing as well.

The ball was not 'rolling around on the ground.' He had his arm under it the entire time. The rule is specific to this point. Slight movement of the ball or contact with the ground is okay as long as control is maintained

Def not a catch.

Agree

His arm was not under the part that touched the ground. I pointed this out during the game when it happened, I got downvoted into oblivion. He didn’t control that pass to the ground. But it doesn’t matter at this point.

I never saw his hand under it because they never showed a slow- mo from the front. They should have shown that at least 6 or 7 times in slo -mo and they didn’t. That’s how everyone would have seen that the ball hit the ground without his hand under it.

They were holding us all night. Never got called once. So they kept holding. Saivon Jones almost got tackled on the play he actually sacked Moss. It was blatant. I kept waiting for the flag that never came.

while we're still mashing those sour grapes into a fine wine, the interception at the end of the game looked like it was trapped between the turf and the defender. At least it did to me.

also, why on that final play did Nuss throw to Taylor over the middle (who totally didn't even attempt to catch a catchable ball) and hit Lacy for like 12 yards right on the sideline so he could've gotten out of bounds?

I know we had 3 timeouts left but USC only had 3-down linemen and they gave us at least 15 yards off the line for a quick play.

I don’t think he caught it and I think there was a clear shot of him trapping it Oh well

His hand was under the ball pinning it into his stomach. It doesn't matter if the ball touches the ground at that point as long as it doesn't move.

The ball looked like it moved to me and I am not certain it was pinned against his body when it looked like it touched the ground. But it was not really conclusive, as you said earlier.

Of all the things to bitch about, this call might be the silliest.

If this is anywhere near the silliest things you have seen people bitch about this week, you must not have been on here much.

I think it's a legitimate thing to discuss. It honestly should not have mattered, LSU should have handled that team regardless but they did not.
