I was listening to Jordy’s show before the press conference came on and he hinted a few times that he didn’t play on defense because he was a few minutes late for something last week. I hope that was a joke but the same thing happens to Denver Harris in fall camp.

Just fyi you realize many Head Coaches have this policy? Thats how you create a culture of discipline and hold people accountable. shite Deion even benched his own son because he was late to a team meeting. Saban also has a similar policy fyi.

Sad to say but college football is definitely a professional sport by any definition. Also, show the frick up on time.

Showing up late is a bad look and disrespectful as shite to the people that strive to be on time.
Im not saying they shouldn’t be punished but not playing them does more harm than good. You end up punishing the entire team that way.

Seen Deions named mentioned multiple times in this thread like he’s some standard of what a coach should be. He hasn’t won shite as a coach and never will.

Something to the effect of being late to pick up a smoothie at the nutrition center. I thought it was a joke, but that’s an oddly specific scenario to make a joke about

This is the type of shite that may work at Notre Dame or work if you're a coach of the caliber of Saban, but this shite is a little out of control. BK kicked the best DB off the team the first week he got here for being a couple minutes late. At some point there is a level of discipline where the players will revolt. When you pair mediocre results with a dictatorship like rule from the head coach, good luck trying to convince kids to commit to your program. BK may not like it, but ball players win championships, regardless of whether they give a frick about the rules

McGlothern would be nice to have on defense this year.

Zero snaps for that?

How about Kelly do 100 up-downs for terrible clock management?

Seriously!? You agree we shouldn’t have played Womack AT ALL because he was the late

Seriously, maybe. It depends on what the rules are and what his past behavior is. I can tell you that the head coach wants the best players on the field a hell of a lot more than you do. So if he saw fit to discipline a kid you can bet there was a good reason.

God our local media is pathetic .

I've always just kinda just tolerated LockedOn LSU's Caroline Fenton but she absolutely eviscerated House today and i was 1000% there for it.

Something ab her being in St.Louis (or wherever) allows her to speak a little freer i guess.

LSU DC Matt House should be fired

Irrelevant.
Deion is in the thread as another example of a popular P5 coach who has the same BE ON TIME policies that applies to all his players, and has spoken out about it. He is also a coach that has spoken out about how to be a leader of men, and how doing the little things right is essential to being a champion.

Are you suggesting only Championship coaches have this ethos? Or that the coach is a loser if he does this?

Jesus, you're dense. And you have me defending Deion Sanders. Who I agree has received every benefit of the doubt.

LOL if you think this is what happened.

I'll use to Womack example in this very thread to prove to you that this is not what happened.

Nick Saban gets his players out of gun and weed charges plus he wins NCs. Kelly needs to do that if it brings Nattys. To hell with the school boy ND walk the line shite.

So you're just going to tell me I'm wrong without saying what happened? Care to share?
