They’re like 10-12 SEC teams this year that can make a super regional or Omaha. It’s a loaded year.

Baseball isn't like football, or even basketball. The seasons are marathons, not sprints. What happens in the middle of March will have no bearing on what happens in June. State beat the brakes off of LSU, but a month from now, we could do the same to a team better than them. With the absolute freaks we had last year in Crews and Skenes, we still lost 10 games in the SEC. Missing an automatic W with Skenes, and 100 runs, 70 RBI, and a .426 batter is a lot to make up for. Fans expecting us to just waltz through the year unscathed need to wake up.

Some mix of actually good and also stepped up insanely for our series. I doubt they’re mediocre.

Idk, they seemed pretty decent against us. They fielded pretty well, they had timely hitting. It seems their starting pitching is something that might hold them back.

Arky is most complete SEC team no doubt. Dynamite starting rotation and solid mix of transfers and players in their system. This could be the year for DVH. They might drop a pop up tho lol
