Afterwards, we were given a gift by mighty Florida via a sure-fire TD drop in the end zone.

Ah, LSU wins they are lucky.

Bama wins in overtime after several questionable calls and they won because of better coaching.

ok.

The offense under performs. Every year. Nearly every game. Try to tell us otherwise.

Last year we passed for more yards than we ran. And this is with 2 RB's that are now in the League.

So that was 2013. What about 2012?

Yup. Passed for more yards than we ran it.

And that was with 4 RB's that made it to the league.

Of the last 6 years, we've passed for more than we have rushed.

Maybe we "underperform" because we consistently play one of the most difficult schedules?

Most preseason predictions had us losing 2 or 3 games. Different story when we actually lose them. Lose 2 and we may not make a bowl. Lose a third in overtime and we're never beating Saban ever again.

At this point, all I can do is laugh at it.

Under Miles, LSU has had four of the top offenses ever in school history.
That says more about the fact that we are in a different era in college football. Now try saying "the offense hasn't underperformed" and provide some support. I dare you.

I never said that.

Those frickers are lucky, and they know it.

They gave the game away via fumble.

And then we fricked it up.

Are you saying that LSU was not lucky vs. UF ?

You see drops like that all the time ?

It's dishonest of you to say this.

Leave it to a Miles defender to use the supremely low expectations following that dismantling at Auburn to defend Miles.
"It's not as bad as y'all thought it would be when it appeared that Miles had created a winless in the SEC team, so why aren't you thrilled with losing to Alabama again?"

right

its average, which is what we are, an average SEC team this year

that still means LSU is better than most college football teams

I don't get hung up on Alabama like many of you on here who are obsessed with them.
I don't think anyone should be thrilled with losing. I also think its hilarious to think LSU can't beat Alabama again.

Define come close?

In 2012 if we beat Alabama we make it to the SEC Championship game?

In 2013 we were tied for first in the SEC west going into week 8?

Damn right. For both teams.

Just like this past Saturday.

We could have (and should have) won the Bama game.

We could have (and should have) lost the Florida game.

The opposite happened.

The key difference being that we caused our own bad luck in the Bama game (it was b.s. to make that personal foul call after Bama doing it all night, but our player did lose his cool and push the Bama player). A Florida player gifted us the luck in that game. We didn't do anything to cause him to drop the ball.

Only one of those is really "luck".

btw, salmon:

This thread was created solely to laugh at people who are frustrated with Miles. I think my characterization of his stance is fair. Hyperbole is a fair way to make a point.
