Sure, Driz. Boutte and Smith were at a paid autograph session about a month prior to the release of the new NIL policy that allowed for payers to be paid for things like that. The organizer of the vent and Boutte had some sort of disagreement and told the NCAA about the event. NCAA investigates and suspends Boutte for a game (NM from reports, that was the game he reportedly missed due to his kid being born).

Since Maason Smith is injured they decided to suspend him for the FSU game but did not notify LSU until the last few weeks.

That's it in a nutshell. The hyperbole and histrionics have ensued ever since.

How are you doing? Ready for some football?

Yeah, he wasn’t supposed to get caught. It’s OK to cheat, just don’t get caught. That’s seems to be the mindset here.

Like every college basketball coach.

But infinitely more blatant and stupid about it than any other coach, which is why he was “targeted”.

He’s gone and will never be back. Move on with your lives

Wade has likely had more success at LSU than McMoribund ever will. McMoribund has already had more failure than Wade had with that atrocity of a season last year.

Your post gives off the vibe that you want LSU to run clean programs and not "just cheat because everyone else is doing it."

Will you be happy with the Vanderbilt AT BEST type of results we would get by following that philosophy????

I get it that it's better to be honorable in life, and your everyday dealings. We should all strive to do that. But that gets you NOWHERE in the world of high stakes college sports.
