Losing to all of the NCAAT teams we played had more to do with it than not beating another SWAC team.

I guess you forgot about Mizzou

Without a doubt I know we would be in the NIT right now for sure had we scheduled 2 more patsy OOC games.

Disagree...and it's not even close. We already have more than our fair share of 200+ RPI wins that are worthless. 2 more worthless wins wouldn't sway anyone to our favor, even if it did get us to the "magic" number of 20.

The problem with those tournaments is it drains the athletic budget just to participate.

Yeah our Athletic Dept. is REALLY hurting for money

Alleva shouldn't have any problems with paying to play. He signed the papers for chic fila bowl the friday before announcement and did very little t help us get a better bowl. He damn well knew ticket sales would be putrid

I feel your pain. Most of the tards posting in the basketball threads of late have only been following the hoops team since early March.

We beat them in the PMAC in late January tom

Let me guess, you only started following the team a two weeks ago. If not, you should take some Namenda for your Alzheimers

LSU lost money to play in Peach Bowl, it wont be an issue losing money in postseason basketball

Yea, because football and basketball bring in a comparable amount of revenue for LSU.

What does this even mean? What do you want him to do?

Team needs more work after a 29 game season

My thoughts as well.
I bet the seniors would like to extend their last season. I think all the guys would love to keep playing.
Aside from the money issues, the only thing that might prevent us doing the CIB might be injuries/wear and tear/health caused by lack of depth in our team.

i would be cool w/ the cbi if we get left out of the nit but you and i both know LSU is not paying to enter that shite

hell im surprised pitt was in it last year. if you get snubbed by the nit you may as well just call it a season.
