Youre right there and I think if Slaughter doesnt imorove like i think he will then you'll see Hughes at SS and Smith at 3rd before any of the freshmen get a shot at 3rd.

But I'm still sticking to an opening day lineup of Slaughter, Smith, Broussard and Garza in the infield. I could be wrong and I've got faith that CPM will figure out the best order.

It's a good problem to have. This team should be full of talent next year

I’m calling you stupid because you’re being stupid. Ignoring the injury and it’s affect on his hitting is stupid. Thinking he won’t hit well once he’s healed is stupid.

We saw Smith play short for what, 3 games?

He hit over .300 against power houses like Hawaii and sacred heart. He returned to earth and struggled against any form of good pitching dude. He struggled against superior SEC talent, it’s fact.

I'm pretty confident in saying that Cabrera is your left fielder. Cabell could very well DH

Haha my fault. I meant to say assuming Duplantis doesn’t return. There was a lot of smoke that he would take any decent offer he gets. My fault for not specifying

You’re over valuing a broken finger to a non pitcher man... I broke my index finger and tore a ligament in my hand playing college ball and 1. I didn’t miss almost a month and 2. I didn’t fall off .100 points off my average. So while carpel tunnel has affected you MLB video game skills, I actually have played through it at a similar level. Congrats, you’re an a-hole

If Duplantis goes, you could see Slaughter in the OF.

Yes. And he had a couple of errors but I think his upside there is worth it.

I'm basing my infield on trying to get Slaughter(who I believe will turn the corner next year), Smith, Garza and Cabell in the lineup together.

That is one potent arse lineup

If this happens then I agree with your infield. I just think Slaughter is going to be a very valuable bat next year.

I agree 100%. Some way some how you have to get all of these guys in the everyday lineup together if they are as good as advertised.

I tell you what, let’s make I deal since I hate fighting over just having an opinion. If Broussard hits over .320 next year, I will personally start a post saying I’m an idiot and all Hale the great ell, and if he doesn’t, you can never respond to one of my statements with your keyboard warrior attitude again.
