Stoopid hypotheticals are getting old.

TM7 would’ve have won the Heisman if he had avoided the suspension.

Hunter was a better receiver than db.

Uh, in the rematch vs Alabama in the NC game, I remember him getting whipped like a mule in coverage. Alabama threw the ball over the top of him covering his WRer. Tyrann Mathieu was a fine player as proven by his college career and his long pro career but he wasn't and isn't the best coverage guy to say the least. He is a game changer in other ways...rushing the passer in college, returning punts in college, etc. But Derek Stingley for example...he ain't! Not even in the same category as Stingley.

quote:Yes. He was never a shut down corner. He found his niche as a nickel player in the NFL. Saban had an aggressive game plan from the go.

Dude, you need mental help. This is your life? You need a job. A girlfriend.

Hunter not even in the same league as Honey Badger when it comes to defense. Had Tyrann played for a shittier team that allowed him to play offense he’d have probably won. There hasnt been a defensive player come anywhere near the impact Tyrann had. Idk if we ever will either, he was that good. Not crazy to say either, he’s a borderline HoF NFL player too.

TM7 is one of the most dominant defensive players i’ve ever seen in college.
His ability to change the game every single game is up there with Suh.

And he wasn't a great receiver.

TM7 would have won the heisman if he wouldn't have gotten in trouble and benched for a game

He deserved it that year no matter what.
With Deon race bating he might have gotten more votes but young HB7 deserved, and still deserves more than that. As painful as it is to lose it from politics, nobody wants to win that way either

I’m just here for the downvote.

Yes. ESPN was riding high on the Mathieu train.
Up in smoke.
