So I have a ticket and it says enter through Gate 8-9 (NEZ)

but I am meeting up with some people who are going in at Gate 10-11 (West Side of Stadium). Can I just go in with them or do you have to go in at the Gate that it says on the ticket?

I'm helping some people out who are coming from out of state. I sit in the student section so I really don't know. Sorry a-hole that its not obvious

Whether you know the policies or not, it should be obvious that if the ticket says to enter through gates 8 and 9 that you enter through gates 8 and 9.

you are dumb. I sit in the student section but I have some friends coming. Some people's tickets say Gate 10-11 and others say Gate 8-9. People with Gate 8-9 tickets want to go through Gate 10-11 with the people.

You have to enter through the gate assigned on the ticket. If you try to enter through another gate, they catch it when they scan the tickets. This happened to me one year. I took my family and we had 1 group of tickets and I bought an extra in another section. This was for a Tulane game so it wasn't as crazy. Whether or not you get in will probably depend on the attitude of the person working the gate.

How did you do it? there is a wall there if you try to do it through the seating part of the stadium, and there are people checking tickets if you try to do it through the walkways underneath.

In order to get to the west side of the stadium from the north or vice versa, you will have to cross the Purple Wall o' Death that is strictly guarded by the most ferocious group of carnivores known to man.....the Wall Nazis.
If you can distract the Wall Nazis long enough, you can traverse the wall...BUT if you get caught........you will will be punished to the fullest extent of Wall Nazi law.....you will have to go back over. *GASP*
It IS possible, but you have to step over the wall, which is enforced by the Wall Nazis for what LSU calls "safety reasons." Also, and I'm sure the most obvious reason is to keep the poor folks (me included - North Section 211) out of the charibacks.
Funny thing is, LSU claims safety but if you cross it, they make you go back....hmmmmm. You have to repeat the same dangerous act in order to right the already "unsafe" wrong? Doesn't add up.
