Nothing is settled unfortunately. Just because a meeting is being pushed doesnt necessarily mean a reinstatement is coming. We all hope it is, but there's still a ways to go before that happens.

You don't get it, do you? The deal has been cut and the meeting is window dressing. They wouldn't push the meeting narrative if it wasn't going to result in his return. That's how these things work.

Exactly. If they didn't know what was going to happen, they would not have leaked the info to Delly.
The meeting may have already occurred for all we know. The public fallout would be bad if they leaked the meeting, he comes in, meeting goes bad and they fire him. It's basically a huge public admission that LSU committed an NCAA violation.

Yeah, I don't get it, either. Because I think Wade is gone. The remaining negotiation is over terms of severance and cooperation with the university in investigation, mitigation of penalties. Those negotiations are important to everybody involved.

They wouldn't leak an article about a meeting being the first step for his return, if his return wasn't imminent.
If they were negotiating buyout terms, it would done quietly and you wouldn't know about it until it was done.
