the gestation period is actually 40 weeks, or 10 months. 9 months is a common misconception and probably led to the poorly timed sex for the OP and his wife.

All hospital rooms have a TV mounted in the corner. If she gets an epidural she can watch the game with you during labor and delivery. Y'all can make the final push during halftime. Should be no problem. Tell the family not to visit until morning and you shouldn't have any meaningful distractions.
