Add Peterson to that list, but they will all sign. 99.9% guaranteed.

There is always a chance. There is also a chance I win the Powerball. I don't buy Powerball tickets, but there is a chance I find the winning ticket on the ground one day. I think my chances of winning the Powerball are about as good as any of those 4 playing for LSU next season.

Mmmmm...might want to review your post for the numerous errors, also. It's kind of harsh to call someone ignorant because of his command of subject/verb agreement, while your post is fraught with issues. Just being honest.

Brooks Kubena of the Advocate says Josh Smith and Zach Watson have already signed:
quote:

They'll join their teammates who already have signed: second baseman Josh Smith (New York Yankees, second round), center fielder Zach Watson (Baltimore Orioles, third round) and right fielder Antoine Duplantis (New York Mets, 12th round), who finished his senior year as LSU's all-time hits leader.

Per MLB.com, none of the current players have signed yet. Or at least their signing has not been confirmed. I don't think Kubena is as tuned in on this as the MLB.com draft guys. They may have agreed to terms, which is something he could be reporting. But nothing is official yet.

I know. My post was to show how inaccurate the Advocate is regarding reporting sports information.

To be fair, I think Kubena is normally the football beat writer and is just filling in for the baseball guy. But yeah, facts are facts regardless of the beat.

I doubt the Advocate will ever have another 100% LSU "baseball guy" working for it. All of the sports writers there are now overlapping sports teams.

They've even resorted to using stringers (contract writers) for ULL athletics which is a little surprising since Acadiana is supposed to be one of their targeted markets.

If you going to call someone out on their grammar you might want to proof read your own post.
