UGA, Bama and LSU played 5 common opponents. Lets see how each Defense measured up.

Auburn:

LSU gave up 18 First Downs.UGA-9. Bama -9.
LSU gave up 245yds, UGA-195yds, Bama-140yds
LSU gave up 161 yds passing, UGA-144yds, Bama-62
LSU gave up 87 yds rushing, UGA-51, Bama-78
LSU was 4/12 on 3rd down conversion allowed, UGA-3/11 and Bama 3/15
LSU forced 2 TOs, UGA-3, Bama-2

The order of defenseive success vs. AU was 1.Bama 2.UGA 3.LSU

Tennessee

LSU gave up 11 1st downs, UGA-17, Bama-6
LSU gave up 239 total tds, UGA-270, Bama-155
LSU gave up 128 passing yds, UGA-290, Bama-63
LSU gave up 111 rushing yds, UGA- -20, Bama-92
3rd down conversions allowed-LSU-4/10, UGA-4/13,Bama-2/14
LSU forced 2 TOs, UGA-0, Bama-2

Order of defensive success. 1.Bama 2.LSU 3.UGA
But how in the world did y'all give up 111 yds rushing. We only gave up -20.

Miss. State

LSU gave up 13 1st downs. UGA-13. Bama-9
LSU gave up 193 total yds. UGA-213, Bama-131
LSU gave up 141 passing yds, UGA-157, Bama-119
LSU gave up 52 rushing yds, UGA-56, Bama-12
3rd down con. allowed. LSU-6/14, UGA-4/15,Bama-3/16
LSU TOs forced-2, UGA-3, Bama-0

Order of success. 1.Bama 2.Tie

Ole Miss

LSU gave up 13 1st downs,UGA-8, Bama-9
LSU gave up 193 total yds, UGA-183, Bama-141
LSU gave up 47 passing yds, UGA-149, Bama-113
LSU gave up 148 rushing yds, UGA-34, Bama-28
3rd downs- LSU-6/16, UGA-3/14, Bama-4/14
LSU forced 3 TOs, UGA-2, Bama-2

Order of success. 1.Bama 2.Tie(edge to UGA)

Florida

LSU gave up 9 first downs, UGA-11, Bama-9
LSU gave up 213 total yards, UGA-226, Bama-222
LSU gave up 100 passing yards, UGA-245, Bama-207
LSU gave up 113 rushing yards, UGA- -19, Bama-15
3rd down- LSU-2/11, UGA-2/13, Bama-4/14
LSU forced 2 TOs, UGA-2, Bama-2

Order of success. 1.Bama 2.UGA 3.LSU

Five common opponents. Three very similiar defensive showings. But, UGA clearly has a better rushing defense than LSU against the five. LSU has a better passing defense against the five.

You do know that they can still get the call wrong even reviewing the play right? All they have to say is the ruling on the field was int and there is not "enough" evidence to overturn. Even if it looked like it might not be an int it's not "enough". I replayed it 5 times in slow motion and the bama receivers back hit the ground before lsu player pulled it out.
Except they didn't say there was not enough evidence to overturn, they SAID that the ruling on the field of INT was CONFIRMED.

Yes LSU has played at a higher level MOST of the year, but all we have to do is play a little higher for this 1 game and we win.

Oh, so you're no longer questioning if everyone thinks LSU wins in a blowout, and are now predicting a Dawg win?

35-13 LSU sounds about right. I had LSU by three TD's over Arky, and LSU by 3 over Bama for reference. Another words, book it.

Good lord you're ignorant! LSU's defensive backs are widely regarded as either #1 or #2 with Bama's. And, no, your WR corp are not collectively better than LSU.

Look, no one gives a rat's arse about your turnaround. LSU has the best body of work this season and it's not close. The Tigers have destroyed every team they've played save Bama.
Could Georgia win? Sure. Upsets happen all the time. But LSU is a superior team to Georgia. If you win, LSU shot itself in the foot.

why are you acting so butt hurt? Because im saying uga has a chance? We do have some positions that are better and you just have to deal with it.....QB,TE,WR,LB's ARE better. I did not say our cb's and db's are better I said it is debatable......Does anyone on your team have more int's than Baccari Rambo? NM..........You will see. You don't watch any uga games and sit there and assume all your positions are better.

I have watched both teams(WHOLE GAMES). Our defense is really good, but you won't understand until saturday night regardless of a win or loss.

Your acting like a UGA win is a longshot, but it's not. It's a whole lot more likely than iowa state beating okie state. These are two talented SEC teams and to disregard that is not smart.

I respect LSU and what they have done, but I will not sit back and act like we have no shot when I know we do.

No, that's not why he called you ignorant. You said that the DBs/CBs were a wash.

That is nowhere near the truth. Have you seen our backfield at work this season?

Go ahead and let ______ air it out. Pick your QB:
A.Darron Thomas
B. Geno Smith
C. Tyler Wilson
D. Clint Mosely
E. A.J. McCarron
F. Matt Simms

All had the same result. They all got passes picked off. Our turnover ratio is +19. That's off the chart insanely good.

It's "you're" btw. He's correct in doing so. Yes, Georgia has a chance, any team has a chance but not against a team that has stepped on it's opponents all season save one game and that was to the #2 team in the nation on the road.

I have a chance of winning the lottery this week. Will it happen? It's doubtful. Same sort of thing can be said here for Georgia.

UGA has been as good, actually better defensively against their 5 common opponents. -19 yds rushing to UF and -20 to UT. LSU gave up 113 and 111 to each.

What was the final score for each team in both of those games?

While we're at it, what was the final score in both teams games vs. Kentucky? Both were played at home in the respective stadiums.

LSU has one major flaw on this team that can bring it down like the Death Star in Star Wars. This flaw was discovered back in LSU’s 9-6 overtime victory over Alabama. When their running game is contained, they cannot dominate opponents with their passing attack.

What Georgia has that Alabama did not is a great passing attack.

Georgia has a huge chance at pulling off a major upset in front of their fans in the Georgia Dome. The Bulldogs are a 13-point underdog in this game and are not getting the respect that they rightfully deserve.

Do not sleep on the Bulldogs in this game, because they will sneak up on the Tigers and force their way into the Sugar Bowl as the SEC Champions.

You didn't read my post from above.

There have been 5, possibly six, teams that said the same thing. All of those teams got crushed.

Aaron Murray has thrown 10 interceptions so far this season. Like I mentioned earlier, our turnover ratio is +19. Let him air it out.

It didn't work for Tyler Wilson, Geno Smith, Darron Thomas, AJ McCarron or Matt Simms.

Georgia is a good team and I respect them but you fail to see the obvious. Your 10 game win streak is something, to be sure, but only 2 of those teams were ranked and they were lucky to even be ranked.

Keep trolling.

And you know this because UGA played them? Or is it because they were #3 and you're still in the teens.
