it's called the triple option buddy, we held them to the second least amount of yards their whole season.

It's not like UGA doesn't see them every year. What happened when LSU played GTech a few years back having not gone against the triple option with a D much inferior to 2011's and Johnson spouting off? That's one reason I am not impressed with your outlook, GT has inferior talent to both LSU and UGA, I wouldn't hang my hat on giving up 243, triple option or not. Why do opposing fans, especially of a team that benefited from a very favorable SOS, get off coming here and saying they will shut LSU down? Now I hope Hilliard alone bangs for 165.

ALABAMA gave up more points and yards to DIVISION 2 GEORGIA SOUTHERN(triple option). GEORGIA TECH has better talent than GEORGIA SOUTHERN.

Does not matter, you act like the triple option is the holy grail. 2008-164, look it up. You really think Bama was pumped to play GSU? We'll see on Saturday.

Like I asked earlier, how many top 10 teams have you played?

How many of those did you win?

RBL, have you watched an LSU game this year?

I have admittedly not watched much Georgia, so I don't know how good/bad y'all are. I just know that they aren't Oregon, Alabama, or Arkansas good. They are closer to Auburn good. Or South Carolina good (even though they too beat y'all). Or Tennessee good.

The point, however, of my question, rehtorical though it may be, is this.....

LSU pretty much runs on whomever it chooses, and uses pretty much whomever is chooses to do so.

Prior to this year, I was not a true believer in this "body punching, wear a defense out, fresh legs" argument. After watching this LSU team, not only am I a believer in it, I think it is truly LSU's chosen strategy.

What LSU does to the defensive lines of opposing teams is scary. By the end of the game, defensive lines literally quit against us, as apparently, it is very demoralizing to see a fresh set of legs coming at you when you've given a 100% on every play. Our depth, you see, is that important.

Watch the Michael Ford run against Alabama in overtime. Do you think Alabama gives up that play in the first quarter? I don't.

Watch pretty much ANY fourth quarter that we've played against anyone else other than Alabama (we actually did it against Alabama as well, just to a lesser extent). Georgia is no Alabama.

Georgia may have a good team. I don't know. But this I do know. LSU will run on Georgia. Fact. Unless Georgia is somehow able to get up by ALOT on LSU in the early going, thus forcing LSU to be in a position of HAVING to throw the football, your defense will be run upon.

I think LSU wins. The margin doesn't really matter to me. As a matter of fact, you only have to blowout Alabama because anything within three points is a win to them.

You pick the ONE game that y'all blew a team out, and try to extrapilate from it?

Do I get to do the same things with our combined results against the all common opponents.....

Let's see, those common opponents would be Auburn, Miss State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Florida. You outscored the common opponents by 78. We outscored them by 156.

Wow, 'bout twice as much.

Damn son, Vandy played y'all close.

I think it may be pretty close. If the bulldog defense clicks it may be like 17 to 10 LSU.

I'll say this, I vividly recall UT booking their trip to the Rose prior to meeting an undermanned LSU team in the SECCG and the Tigers shocking the world in 2001 in a comeback win with a backup QB. shite can happen, UGA has athletes, I am not overconfident at all and certainly don't expect the coaches and players to be. I don't think you are giving this team much credit for what they have overcome this season on and off the field, they are a mentally tough squad.

I can't wait for the SEC Championship game. It's going to be a great atmosphere and a big game. I think Georgia is a tough test and if we win I think we can confidently say we have OWNED the SEC this year.

I'm not nervous about this game, but I respect Georgia. They're a good team. Winning 10 in a row is a feat.

RBL-You barely beat Tennessee. Barely beat Kentucky and Got Lucky against Vandy. You lost to Boise in YOUR House. I would say your level is sub par compared to THIS LSU Team.
Now just get ready for the extra speed of LSU since it will be on the turf.
Oregon experienced that when Mingo Tracked down LaMichael James.
Crowell isnt faster than LMJ
Come the 4th all those fatties that you have on that Front Line "Fat John Jenkins" who Isnt a Mt Cody will be gasping for air just like they were against Boise St.

GA again will be exposed as ALL BARK NO BITE .

Seriously Aaron, I mean RBL, your only chance of winning the game is LSU not taking this game seriously - y'all have MUCH more to play for than we do - and that does scare me a lil.....

That said, our team has not seemed to care about the game's meaning, the opponent, whatever. They just ball.

If our team does not rest players, buy into the "we're still going to the 'ship" mentality, etc, you'll get drilled. But like the above quote says, stranger things have happened.

My whole opinion of Georgia is pretty much based on the results of the games y'all have played to date. It's not very good compared to LSU's. The game will be played, however. And for a reason.

Good luck.
