Deluded old hypocrite.
He seems to have "his guys" and there's no wrong they can ever do. I know it goes way back but he really defended Quinn Snyder a lot too when he was running into problems at Mizzou (likely because of the Duke connection).
He picks and chooses who he gets angry about and who he turns a blind eye to.

Dicky V surely knows exactly how college basketball operates unless he’s an absolute moron. So he’s just playing tribal politics at this point supporting whatever tribes he aligns with.

He has to know though, doesn't he? Someone that involved with college basketball must have at least some familiarity with the AAU scene, the camps, the shoe company sponsorships, the "advisors" so many of the recruits have.
