or are they like us and clearly see all the benchmarks out there (aggressive, creative offenses that have about the same level of talent, in some cases lesser talent, on the o-line as we do)? As so many of you have pointed out, the statistics do not lie; hell, they don't even spin it. LSU's Offense has gotten even worse. Are the wheels in motion to demote Ensminger?

Hopefully they're smarter than most on here and can see the issues and know what it's going to take to improve.

you kidding me? if we finish 10-2, some would take that to mean that we don't have to improve.

I hope so and change is needed!

This is the same old song and dance as miles' offense, just ran out of Shotgun. They have taken a shite sandwich and put it on a po-boy...its still shite.

Orgeron's MO is shifting the blame to the players. If he can convince the administration that this is the case, then I don't see Ensminger being fired or demoted. O wants an OC he can control.

Change is not needed. We are having a great season.

There is more to life and even football than championships. LSU has had and continue to good seasons without beating a certain team from the west.

Be content with being good and not being able to be Bama.

Les Miles had a few plays that we executed very well but didn't always match up vs our competition.

Ensminger has a ton of plays that match up well against the competition that we don't execute well.

Our failure on offense is a failure to execute.

Same as miles did with his weekly, "it's not the scheme, it's execution"! Lay the blame on players.

Ah, nice. More vague platitudes that avoid placing any blame whatsoever on any of the coaches. You've gotten pretty good at this.

Goal Post Move: [on] / off

Why even compete if you dont set your goals at the top? I bet you are one of thise posters that try to dictate who “true fans” are too.

Well, maybe an over reaction. You guys will still finish 10-2 (probably). Although in my personal opinion you could trust your QB more and turn him lose. He really is pretty accurate but apparently the OC believes you can't have more than one pass in a series. Bama is susceptible to a good accurate QB. running wasn't an option so you needed to pass more to make running possible. The other issue was going too quick. Those 3 and outs worked heavily against your defense... you can live and die by going too fast. Yes, going fast could get defenses out of position but if it doesn't work you go 3 and out really super fast and you put your defense back out on the field (LSU defense was tired in second half). It was a gamble that didn't work in the Bama scenario.

All that being said... LSU is still a really good team. The players and coaches will get better and more experienced. Give them time and I think you will like the progress. I think they learned from this game and that experience will help going forward. You have to play better teams to help you fix issues.

Good luck Tigers on the remaining season.
