So an unranked LSU beat #6 UF and they drop to #7?

Am I seeing this correctly on ESPN?
If a #6 LSU lost to an unranked team we would fall off the map in the rankings

Flip ND and Ohio State. The playoff committee doesn’t want to play ND-Clemson for a third time.

Florida self identified themselves as winning that game. Therefore, they can only drop one spot. Just ask any Ethnic or Women's Studies professor on any major campus. They’ll tell you.

That’s not how this works. Teams are neither punished nor rewarded when they win or lose by rising or falling—they are simply re-ranked with an extra data point.

They couldn't drop Florida below Georgia. Florida had to be (and should be) ahead of Georgia. The only way to drop them further would have been to drop Georgia for Florida's loss.

I think that's the judges way of recognizing that Florida is historically a better program than LSU.
Its sad when those kind of politics play a part in the ranking system of the CFP.
ETA - So you downvoters are happy that they use that criteria to judge us? Must be A1abana trolls. Sad.
